Present Perfect Tense, geçmişte belirsiz bir zamanda meydana gelen veya geçmişte başlayıp şimdiye kadar devam eden bir eylem veya olay hakkında konuşmak için kullanılır.
Present Perfect Tense Konu Anlatımı:
Present Perfect Tense, geçmişte yapılmış olan bir eylemi veya geçmişle şimdiki zaman arasındaki bağlantıyı kurmak için kullanılan bir zaman dilimidir. Bu zaman dilimi, “have/has +Verb 3 (Fiilin 3. hali)” şeklinde oluşur.
Örneğin: “I have eaten breakfast” (Ben kahvaltımı yaptım) veya “She has finished her work” (O, ev ödevini bitirdi).
Present Perfect Tense, genellikle geçmişte yapılan bir eylemle ilgili bilgi verirken veya geçmişte yapılan bir eylemle ilgili soru sorarken kullanılır.
Örneğin: “I have been to France three times” (Fransa’ya üç kez gittim) veya “Have you seen the new movie yet?” (Bu yeni filmi daha önce gördün mü?)
Present Perfect Tense, geçmişte yapılan bir eylemle ilgili bilgi verirken kullanılmasına rağmen, geçmişte yapılan eylemle ilgili detayları vermez.
Örneğin,: “I have seen that movie” (O filmi gördüm) cümlesinde hangi tarihte veya saatte filmin izlendiği belirtilmez.
Ayrıca, Present Perfect Tense, geçmişte başlayıp hala devam eden veya sona ermiş olmasına bakılmaksızın, bir eylemle ilgili bilgi vermek için kullanılabilir.
Örneğin: “I have lived in İstanbul for 10 years” (10 yıldır İstanbul’da yaşıyorum) cümlesinde, kişinin hala İstanbul’da yaşadığı anlaşılmaktadır.
